Description
The Beatles - Hey Jude b/w Revolution - COLUMBIA DP 570. Original 1968 Kenyan seven-inch - mega-rare mispress on the COLUMBIA label.
This is an original Beatles single from 1968, manufactured under licence in Kenya. It bears the same catalogue number, matrices and label format (complete with three-pronged centre) as the documented Parlophone issue (a proven rarity in itself), but has been pressed with a label that mistakenly bears the Columbia name and logo. I can find no mention of this record's existence anywhere and can only assume that this was either a test run or a pressing mistake that was quickly corrected.
As a result, this is an IMPOSSIBLY RARE Beatles record and could even be a one-off, which would make it one of the rarest Beatles collectibles available.
