This early pressing is on the yellow & black Parlophone label: GEP 8880
The side 1 label omits the 'Recording First Published..' but it is present on side 2.
'Parlophone Co. Ltd..' rims are present on both.
The 'KT' tax/price code is visible in the centre of the side 1 label & 'MT' in both run-outs.
Housed in a front laminated, rounded bi-flipback 'Garrod' printed picture cover.
Matrix numbers: 7TCE 760-2N & 7TCE 761-1N
Stamper numbers: 1/GL & 1/RL
CONDITION
Labels: EXCELLENT
Clean & fully intact with just a few light spindle trails and slight hole wear on side 2.
Visual: VERY GOOD +
Both surfaces are clean bright & glossy with no significant marks or wear in strong daylight & just some light non-feelable hairlines visible directly under halogen light.
Play: EXCELLENT
This copy has received some careful play and all tracks play clearly & cleanly without any groove/play wear or any clicks, pops or other major faults.
Cover
VERY GOOD
Clean & fully intact with just light/normal handling & storagewear & without any major faults.
- Strict & grading under strong daylight & directly beneath a halogen desk lamp to UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.
