THE BEATLES - 'I WANT TO HOLD YOUR HAND'/'THIS BOY'
This NEAR MINT copy is a UK 1st press dating from initial November 1963 release on the black & silver Parlophone label: R 5084
This copy was pressed by EMI rivals, Decca to help satisfy the overwhelming demand which reached 1 million in advance orders alone.
Both labels omit the 'Sold in UK..' text but have 'The Parlophone Co..' worded rims.
The 'KT' purchase tax code is visible in both run-outs only.
Rare matrix numbers: 7XCE 17559-2N & 7XCE 17560-2N
Stamper codes: 1/I & 1/K
Housed within its original and correct green & white Parlophone company cover.
Complete with a genuine & original 1960's ex-record shop stock paper bag.

A superb set with the characteristic small Decca centre boss which bears just a small handful of light spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.
