THE BEATLES - 'I WANT TO HOLD YOUR HAND'/'THIS BOY'
1968 UK 'CONTRACT' PRESSING* 45
This rare 1963 'contract pressing' is a heavy, solid centred copy on the black & silver Parlophone label: R 5084
Both labels omit the 'Sold in UK..' text but have upper case 'Parlophone Co. Ltd...' worded rims.
A 'KT' purchase tax code is present in both run-out only.
Housed in its original green & white Parlophone company sleeve.
Matrix numbers: 7XCE 17559-1N & 7XCE 17560-1N
Stamper codes: 3 & 1 (machine stamped)

This rare pair are clean & unblemished with just some spindle wear to each centre hole.
Visual: FAIR/GOOD
Both playing surfaces are fairly worn with numerous wispy hairline marks consistent with frequent play. However, there are no major marks or scratches on either side and both side lit 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Play: GOOD
Played many, many times but sounds better than it looks with powerful sound with just some light background during quieter passages and a few 'pops' on the 'A' side but no major audible faults to either.
Sleeve
VERY GOOD
General storagewear but no writing, seams splits or tears.
