RARE 1964 picture sleeve

Here is the first of two Beatles 45 picture sleeves issued by Capitol to promote the film "A Hard Days Night". Although sales of this 45 did not equal the level of previous Capitol singles, it was still a huge money maker for the label when it was originally issued on July 20th, 1964.
This picture sleeve is the more desirable "East Coast version" with the straight cut top (the inferior West Coast variety has a slightly out-of-focus photo and greyish tint). It is in VG++ condition overall (some would even call this Mint minus based on the atrocious grading standards on Ebay). Suffice to say that this is absolutely the CLEANEST version of this sleeve that we have ever seen and it should be an upgrade or nice addition to most collections. It was obtained from a fan who kept it pressed between the pages of a scrapbook for over 35 years before deciding to part with it.
The sleeve still has the original 98-cent price sticker affixed and a small staple hole in the upper-right front corner. There is hardly any notciable ringwear (which is an extreme rarity for this particular sleeve) and creasing is at a minimum.
A special acid-free cardboard insert has been placed inside the sleeve to prevent creasing and "fold-over" damage. The sleeve also comes in a special Japanese resealable sleeve which resists the “clouding” effect of standard polyethylene sleeves and will protect it for years to come.
