THE BEATLES - 'IF I FELL'/'TELL ME WHY'
This scarce UK EXPORT 45 featuring two tracks from 'A Hard Day's Night' is 1964 pressing on the black & silver Parlophone label: DP 562
Both labels omit the 'Sold in UK..' text but have upper case 'Parlophone Co. Ltd..' worded rims.
The 'KT' purchase tax code is visible around the centre of the 'Tell My Why' label.
Matrix numbers: 7XCE 17756-1N & 7XCE 17757-1N
Stamper codes: 2/T & 1/T
Housed in an original green & white Parlophone company sleeve.

Labels: EXCELLENT +
An extremely clean & unworn set with just a small handful of tiny marks around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: VERY GOOD +
Both playing surface are clean & glossy and display just two light, non-feelable fingernail scuffs and a non-feelable hairline scratch on 'If I Fell' side in strong daylight, but nothing at all on the 'Tell Me Why' side. Closer inspection directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals some harmless wispy paper-type hairlines but no further significant blemishes or wear.
Sound Quality: 'If I Fell': VERY GOOD + 'Tell Me Why': EXCELLENT
This disc has received minimal careful play and is without any significant deterioration to the sound quality. Some light background is audible, chielfy on the introduction to 'If I Fell', but 'Tell Me why' plays cleanly and clearly without any trace of any groove/playwear distortion. To my ears, both tracks sound much better on this 45 than on the LP.
