Beatles Introducing 1964 Original Authentic Version 2 STEREO Vee Jay LP

 This item is a stereo album released in in 1964 on Vee Jay Records by The Beatles entitled ‘Introducing The Beatles’. Record label and number is Vee Jay Records VJLPS 1062. This particular album is an original Vee Jay stereo LP and is not a boot, fake or counterfeit LP as can be determined by the words ‘The Beatles’ above the spindle hole and the word ‘STEREO’ at the three o’clock position on the record label (see photos). This Beatles album is referred to as a ‘Version 2’ LP with the songs ‘Ask Me Why’ and ‘Please, Please Me’ replacing the songs ‘Love Me Do’ and ‘P.S. I Love You’ which are found on ‘Version 1’ copies of this album. Original stereo copies of this album are rare and are hard to find. Record itself is in strong VG condition with some scuffs on each side of the record. Side 1 has a long visible scuff while most of the other scuffs are in the dead wax area which does not effect play. There are some small residue spots on the song ‘I Saw Her Standing There’ that do not effect play. Side 2 has an area of small light hairline scuffs that can be seen under a strong light however the record plays through fine and sounded great with no skips and a little light noise between some of the songs. Once in a while you may hear a click or pop (none of which are loud) which does not retract from the listening experience. Record labels have some light spindle marks. Record was cleaned on a VPI Record Cleaning machine. Stereo record cover is in VG+ condition with flaws being some light ringwear, wear at the top of the cover at the upper left corner, three creased corners that can be seen on the back of the cover and some wear along the edge of the bottom of the cover (see photos). Back of the cover has the comma on the song ‘Please Please Me’. Album comes complete with its original Vee Jay Records paper inner sleeve. Inner sleeve has a two inch tear on one side of the inner sleeve. See photos for song listings. This rare authentic stereo album is in pretty decent shape considering that it’s 51 years old and is a rare and great addition to any Beatles collection!!! Money back if not satisfied.
