Description
This is a no reserve auction for the following LP vinyl record:

Cover Condition: VG/VG+
Comments: Hello folks! This is a 100 percent authentic, Mono version 2 copy of this highly collectible lp... with the rare 45 size labels and small brackets. Also, this copy has the "Coffin-King" typo credit...which is suppose to read "Goffin-King". The dead wax has the Audio Matrix stamp and "URJ", "A1" and 63-3402/3403 are etched into each side. There is also a smaller stamper which I cannot make out on side Two. This version was manufactured by ARP.
Now for condition.. The vinyl on side One is very clean with some light sleeve swiping toward the right of label (when help upright) This swiping is very light and will not affect playback. This side also has two light scarf marks that start toward the end of track 3 (Anna) and move into track 4 (Chains) , the other scarf is at the end of track 6 (Ask Me Why). Both scarfs do not cause discomfort during playback. The more audible scarf is at the end of track 6, and this is only a minor issue. The label on side one is in excellent condition, with mild signs of spindle wear.
The vinyl on side Two has more light sleeve scuffing, but nothing audible. There is one longish sleeve swipe that spans the last 4 tracks, but playback offers no clues that it is there. The labels on side Two have a "bubbled" section on the left (as seen in photo) There is a slight tear at the peak of the bubbles. There is absolutely NO spindle wear on this side to speak of! This may sound like a lot of problems with the vinyl...but for a record of tihs age..I assure you it is not and plays very well. I am just making sure I cover all bases.
Now for the cover! Front of cover shows light sticker mark at upper left corner and a possible sticker mark at lower/left corner. There is some light rub wear throughout, more evident at the bottom. The back cover has a green marker "M" in upper right corner. There is also rub wear to the back, but all writing is clearly visible. I should also note that there is a very small brown stain over the "O" in "Introducing". Also, this is the version with the comma in Please, Please Me.
As for the seams... The top seam has a very small missing section, about one/eighth of an inch, almost in the center. There is also some cracking toward the left side. This same seam has moderate wear to right corner. The spine is in great shape, with a writing clearly visible. The bottom corner is a little "smushed"...for lack of a better term. This is the bottom corner, which carried the weight. The bottom seam has some moderate wear throughout, but is fully intact, with some light cracking at left edge, and moderate wear to corners.
Again, this may all seam like a lot..but I just want to make sure people know EXACTLY what they are bidding on, and there are no surprises. I use the Goldmine record grading system, which is detailed below. Cover's and vinyl are graded separately and may not fall into the same category. If you would like more info about a particular title, please ask. I check Ebay often and will try to get back to you promptly.
M (MINT) - Album is brand new, sealed, and unplayed.
NM (NEAR MINT) - Vinyl looks as if you just got it home from a new record store and removed the shrink wrap. LP cover may have some light rub marks.
VG+ (VERY GOOD PLUS) - Vinyl may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Sleeves will have some slight wear, lightly turned corners, or a slight seam split. Also may have slight signs of wear also may be marred by a cut out hole, indentation or corner indicating it was taken out of print and sold at discount.
VG (VERY GOOD) - Vinyl has light wear, scratches or scuffs. Covers may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached, or small seam splits.
G (GOOD) - Vinyl has moderate, ever wear throughout, but still playable. Surface noise and scratches. A cover or sleeve will has large seam splits. especially at the bottom or on the spine. Tape, writing, ring wear or other defects will start to overwhelm the cover.
P (POOR) - Lowest Grade. Audible scratches, etc. on more than half the tracks. Listening uncomfortable. The sleeve is water damages, split on all three seams or heavily marred by wear and writing.
