Description
Original 1971 Scranton Pennsylvania USA Apple first pressing of John Lennon Imagine. If you are looking for an archival, museum quality copy of the finest ever pressing of this Lennon masterpiece, this is the one. The vinyl appears to be unplayed. It is in fantastic NM condition. The SW-2-3379 Z20 and Z21 etched matrices and Bell Sound stamp indicate a real deal Scranton PA first pressing. As such, it also has the gorgeous first pressing laminated high-gloss outer cover, which is in beautiful NM condition. It has a small amount of gloss lift on the left hand side of the back (see pics), but is 99% intact. The high gloss on the very first pressing covers is so fragile, that it's almost always completely peeled off. That is why first pressing covers often look remarkably dull. The poster is unused with no folds, etc. The same is true of the postcard. The original inner sleeve is in wonderful condition with only a 1-inch seam split on one side. I am also including a Mobile Fidelity Original Master Sleeve, as vinyl of this quality should never be stored in the original paper inner sleeve. I accept Paypal only, and I ship only to the USA.
