Description
This is the original UK 1st pressing of the rare John Lennon & Yoko Ono album "Life With The Lions" on the Apple label catalogue number Zapple 01. The labels are in outstanding condition displaying only a couple of spindle marks each side indicating the record has not had much play. There again, I think most of these early Lennon albums only had a few plays. The Matrix numbers are: Side one Zapple 01 A1 and Side two Zapple 01 B1. The vinyl is in an incredible NEAR Mint condition and only under the brightest of lights and at the right angle can you detect only one of the lightest sleeve removal lines on side one. Other than that the vinyl is as near mint as you are going to get. I really had to look before spotting this. The album is housed in the correct inner as per scan and is in EX++ condition and has no splits, rips or tears. Similarly the outer sleeve is in great shape and the only detraction is one corner bump to the top right opening edge (see scan). This really is an outstanding example of a rare Lennon album which overall is graded Near Mint.
