Description
The time has come for me to part with my 50 year old Beatles collection. This collection consists of LP's, 45's, picture sleeves, EP's, 12" singles, picture discs, sealed LP's, test pressings, acetates, promos, box sets, and CD's from the US and the UK. The collection also includes vinyl and CD's from John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, and Apple artists. There are numerous rarities in this collection. The vast majority of the vinyl is in NM- to NM condition; I tried not to acquire anything with a grade below that, or attempted to upgrade, although a few of the extremely hard to find items I was unable to upgrade and they will have a grade below that. If you are a Beatles collector, be sure to bookmark me as the items I'll be listing will surely be of interest. Here we go; a splendid time is guaranteed for all.
John Lennon and Yoko Ono-"Happy Xmas (War Is Over)"/"Listen, The Snow Is Falling" 45, Apple 47663/47664, released in 1971. This is a very scarce white label promo pressing of this 45. Vinyl, VISUALLY graded by Goldmine standards, is in strong VG+ to NM- condition with a few extremely light scuffs/marks. A-side label has some marks, as shown. Authentic, with "Bell Sound" stamped in the dead wax on both sides. This will come in it's original Apple sleeve, in VG+ condition. Very rare piece of Lennon vinyl, in overall excellent shape, in a rare format. These were pressed in very small numbers at John's direction by Apple, not Capitol, as he didn't think they were doing enough to promote it.
