RARE PROMO ISSUE, LONG DELETED, UK EMI MILLENNIUM **SPECIAL EDITION**, MINT/UNPLAYED, TOTALLY COMPLETE, LOVELY PACKAGE

This is a RARE UK EMI/APPLE PROMOTIONAL Vinyl LP Set, released by EMI/Apple UK in 1999 in celebration of the forthcoming new Millennium.

The SCARCE and EXCLUSIVE PROMOTIONAL Release promoting John Lennon’s Re-mastered Album WALLS AND BRIDGES was issued ONCE ONLY on VINYL, and the LP set is NOW DELETED from the EMI catalogue.

The Special Edition Vinyl LP package - with the catalogue number MILL 99 - a shortened version of Millennium 1999 - has been recreated featuring the Original Artwork. The Vinyl LP Package includes a HEAVYWEIGHT Virgin Audiophile 180gm Vinyl LP of ‘Walls an Bridges’ on the Custom APPLE label.

The machine stamped matrixes are: Side 1: 4994641 A-02-01-1 and Side 2: 4994641 B-03-01-1.

The album is protected in its Original Picture Card Inner Sleeve displaying the Walls and Bridges artwork either side. To further protect the album from its abrasive PICTURE Card Inner Sleeve, EMI have also supplied a soft Polythene lined paper inner sleeve for the album to be stored in.

There is also a VERY NICE 8 page Lyric Picture booklet containing lyrics to each of the tracks, and some John Lennon colour drawings. The front of this booklet displays a fabulous Image of John.

The Heavyweight Vinyl LP is housed in an Outer Card Picture Sleeve precisely re-creating the Original Walls and Bridges Artwork. The front of this very cleverly designed sleeve contains TWO separate sections, which when folded back on to the reverse of the sleeve (as was the case with the original sleeve artwork) displays a colour image of John Lennon poking his tongue out, and when placed back into its front position reveals one of Johns drawings entitled ‘Football’, from June 1952, sketched by John when he was aged just 11.

To complete the package the sleeve is protected into its Original PROMO ONLY Plastic Wallet which folds over on the reverse in the style of an envelope. There is an official EMI Blue Millennium Printed Sticker adhered to the front of the Plastic Wallet. The reverse of the sleeve has a Promo sticker which reads ‘PROMOTIONAL COPY NOT FOR SALE’

This Vinyl LP is in NEW mint and unplayed condition. The Picture Card Inner Sleeve is mint. The Picture Card outer sleeve is also a mint example. The 8 page lyric booklet is mint – hard to fault this COLLECTIBLE UK SPECIAL EDITION Vinyl LP Set in any way!
