A FEW ITEMS FROM MY A-LIST THIS WEEK, ALONG WITH MORE UNPLAYED ALBUMS FROM THE COLLECTION.

READ THIS! These records are NOT sold for perfect sound quality. They’re sold for their scarcity and VISUAL grading. They’ve been in storage for a decade, and they WILL play with surface noise that can be addressed with D4 or a VPI cleaning.  I can’t test-play at the minute. Please don’t bid if this is a problem for you.

Beatles LP 1964 Ain’t She Sweet ATCO MONO LP NM VINYL!

Vinyl--- NM both sides.  Vinyl looks very close to unplayed.  Both surfaces shine like mirrors with some minor manufacturer’s defect so minor you’ll barely see it.  A final upgrade of this rare cash-in LP!

Plates--- C-12129-C/ C-12129-D. “AT” hand-etched into both sides of the trail-off areas.

Cover--- Muscular-strong, NO SPLIT SEAMS.  What appears to be a tear at the bottom corner of the spine is actually the way the slick folded when applied to the cover.  What appears to be 3 or 4 dots of worn-off slick to the top seam in the photo is actually the catalogue number from the back cover creeping over to the top seam.

There is some dulling from time to the glossy front cover and some dirtwear to the back cover, but not enough to be classified as moderate.  “SW-66” is stamped on the back cover.  I wonder what that is?  I’ve seen that on a few copies…

Labels--- Gorgeous.  NO spindle marks.  Labels look 1964- brand new, as though they were just printed this afternoon.

Original Inner Sleeve--- Original inner sleeve is present and in great condition.  ATCO, being the subsidiary label to the parent company Atlantic, this copy has an Atlantic inner sleeve.  Some wrinkling from insertion at the factory, but NO SPLIT SEAMS.

A generic inner sleeve will be provided, so as not to damage your original Atlantic inner sleeve en route.

RIAA: N/A.

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)
