CONDITION

Disc

Visual: EXCELLENT

A well preserved disc of this the earliest UK pressing. Appears virtually mint in daylight on closer examination there are some very minor non feelable surface marks which do not effect play but certainly no scratches or scuffing. Could be graded higher but a full excellent for sure.

Labels: EXCELLENT+

A really nice set of 1st issue labels with only a few spindle traces, confirming that the record has not received a huge amount of play in its 49 year history.

Audio: EXCELLENT+

Overall a really superb sounding disc. All the quieter acoustic tracks, of which there are quite a few, play without any distracting surface noise or distortion. Most of the tracks play grade at mint. The only wear that I detected on the entire record was towards the end of ‘Can’t Buy Me Love’ on side one. Most gaps are silent and there are no pops or ticks. The record does not jump or stick. Overall a great listening experience.

Cover

EXCELLENT

An original 1964 E J Day cover with signs of only very minor wear and light handling. Front panel retains its high gloss sheen, back panel is free from any writing and shows minimal signs of ageing. All flipbacks are intact. Spine is perfect. A great example of this very rare cover and severely graded at excellent.

Inner-sleeve Excellent +

Original 1964 rice paper inner.
