Beatles LP Beatles Again in 90% Shrink, NM Vinyl, First Pressing

Slightly harder to find Scranton labels with dark green glossy Apples and thicker typeset.

Vinyl--- NM Side 1, strong VG++ Side 2.  Beautiful vinyl.

Plates--- Z6/ Z9  Both sides contain all three Scranton stamps, “Bell Sound,” sf and the “IAM” triangle.

Cover--- Very well-protected by the shrink.  As collectors well know, with this album cover being dark on the front and black on the back, it’s extremely difficult to find one that doesn’t have some degree of ringwear or dirtwear, or both.  This cover is very clean.  The back cover shrink has taken the force of the ringwear, and if you gently pull it away from the cover, you will see that the cover hasn’t been affected much, if at all. 

In fact, the only areas affected on this cover are down the mouth of the back cover, and it’s not very much.  About five inches of shrink has split on the spine, and there has been minimal wear to that area, too.  Breathe holes are present on both sides of the cover.

All seams are muscular and strong as the day this cover was assembled.  NO splits, NO shelfwear, NO crackling slick.  Not even a little.  Factory-fresh seams and spine, bold, clear print.

Labels--- Extremely close to NM store stock new.  Side 1 label has extremely light spiderweb spindle marks that are just barely detectable.  Side 2 label has none at all.  First pressing labels read, “The Beatles Again.”  (Stupid title, Allen.  Glad they changed it on you.)

Inner Sleeve--- Original plain white inner sleeve is present.  It has browned over time, NO splits.  A generic white inner sleeve will be provided, so as not to split your original generic white inner sleeve en route to you.

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!) 

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)
