READ THIS! These records are NOT sold for perfect sound quality. They’re sold for their scarcity and VISUAL grading. They’ve been in storage for a decade, and they WILL play with surface noise that can be addressed with D4 or a VPI cleaning.  I can’t test-play at the minute. Beatles LP Help! 1975 Apple All Rights Disclaimer on 2 Lines at the BOTTOM, VERY SCARCE!

Most collectors are very familiar with the Los Angeles pressings of the “All Rights” variation with the disclaimer in semi-circular text at the bottoms of both labels.  Far more often than not when you find an LA “All Rights” variation, that’s the one you’ll find.  See Compere Photo.

This is the far scarcer variation with the disclaimer at the bottom on Side 1 in two straight lines, and then on 5 lines in the right shoulder of the sliced Apple on Side 2.  Keeping in mind that the entire “All Rights” run was only in the shops for less than 90 days 51 years ago in 1975 to begin with, these labels are insane to secure for your collection.

Vinyl--- VG+/VG+.  Not a NM copy, but far from a placeholder. 

Side 1 has some very light hairlines for sure, but still shines 90% brand new.  Side 2 has two bright scuffs which are not feelable with the fingertip, and the rest of the side shines brand new.  Both sides have what looks like dried record cleaning fluid in the dead waxes.  It might clean off, but I’m not going to try it.

Plates--- F15/F16.  These copies also have the scarcer catalogue numbers that omit the “SMAS” prefixes on both sides.  Machine-stamped asterisk in the dead wax makes this copy pressed in Los Angeles.

Cover--- VG+.  Very little evidence of dirtwear, only slight yellowing on both front and back.  Some waviness to the front cover slick to the right of the band’s name. Top and bottom seams each have crackling slick from shelfwear about 1 ½ inches long in the centers.  Maybe the most serious damage is that there is a split on the spine at the center, just over one inch long.

Oddly enough, there is NO record outdent.

Gatefold--- VG.  Gatefold has moderate yellowing around the edges, a tiny amount of foxing as well.  Center seam split that goes through to the spine is just over one inch long.

Labels--- EX/EX.  Labels look great, with the exception of some very light spindle marks that are visible when the LP is tilted toward a bright light source.

Capitol Inner Sleeve--- EX. Generic white inner sleeve with die-cut hole for the labels to show is present.  Sleeve is almost NM with just some very light wrinkles.  NO YELLOWING, NO SEAM SPLITS.

A generic inner sleeve will be provided, so as not to damage your original Capitol inner sleeve en route.

RIAA: N/A

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)
