Beatles LP MONO Beatles ’65 In Shrink Stunning Vinyl!
Vinyl--- Nearly unplayed-looking first pressing. Only a few short angel hairs on side 2, which can only be seen under a bare bulb. Mirror shine. Very interestingly, this copy, although cut on RCA lathes with the deep groove on the labels, has the LA asterisk. There is no “RCA” in the dead wax, meaning that Capitol in LA actually shipped their plates to RCA for this pressing. As audiophiles know, LA was the mother plant who reproduced their plates for the other plants, making LA pressings the best sound quality.
Plates--- J12/J10
Cover--- Very well-preserved cover. Shrink wrap is torn at the back bottom, but the cover has retained its snow-white color in the main. There is a little yellowing on the back cover at the cover’s opening. Shrink wrap has taken some dirt, but not the cover! All cover seams are muscular and strong. NO wear to the seams in the least. As this copy was pressed at the RCA plant in New Jersey, there are no breathe holes in the shrink. That’s a Capitol feature.
Labels--- NM. Not the first flaw, not one single spindle mark.
Capitol Inner Sleeve---Burnt orange, looks pretty new, except a wrinkled corner (see photos) and a two-inch seam split at the bottom center.

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.
