READ THIS! These records are NOT sold for perfect sound quality. They’re sold for their scarcity and VISUAL grading. They’ve been in storage for a decade, and they WILL play with surface noise that can be addressed with D4 or a VPI cleaning.  I can’t test-play at the minute. Please don’t bid if this is a problem for you.

Beatles LP Magical Mystery Tour 1975 Apple with Glow Ring, Superior Sound Quality, NM!

Previously undocumented, there are a few collectors who have become familiar with this 1975 Los Angeles-only “All Rights Reserved” pressing.  Only a few titles have been discovered with this glow ring, being Revolver, Sgt. Pepper, Hey Jude and this one.  All of them feature crystal-clear, warm sound quality that surpasses all other Apple pressings from 1968 through 1975.

In less than one year, they were off the shelves.

Vinyl--- EX/NM.  Side 1 has a couple of very light lines. The rest of the side looks unplayed glossy.  Side 2 is an easy NM.

Plates--- G35/G37.  Machine-stamped asterisk in the dead wax makes this copy pressed in Los Angeles.

Cover--- Nice VG.  Front and back cover has light and uniform dirtwear.  Back cover has a light scratch through the catalogue number at the top right.  Book is still attached.  Bottom seam has a couple of small spots of missing slick.  Spine has a small dent at the bottom, after the catalogue number.  Gatefold panels have yellowed over the decades.  NO SPLIT SEAMS.

Labels--- EX/EX.  Light spindle marks only.  Tilted toward a light source the audiophile glow ring stands up boldly.  Check your LA copies.  If they’re missing the glow rings, you can be assured that this copy will blow yours out of the ocean.

Inner Sleeve--- EX.  Generic white inner sleeve with die-cut hole for the labels to show is present.  Sleeve has barely yellowed.  Very light wrinkling, record outdent.  NO SPLIT SEAMS.

A generic inner sleeve will be provided, so as not to damage your original inner sleeve en route.

RIAA: N/A.

**If you’re missing a copy with the glow ring, you should pick this one up now.  It’s going to be a very long while before you see another one.**

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)

Note:  All LP’s ship outside of their album covers in order not to damage the covers during shipment.

CAUTION!  There has been a startling increase in bidders canceling their bids.  A word to the wise, I have started blocking any and all bidders who retract their bids regardless of the reason.

Please don’t bid unless you’re willing to honor your amount, okay? Thanks!

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)
