THIS PRESSING:
Original FIRST PRESSING of MMT, released on september 16 1971, on the Hör Zu label. As in Britain, the six original songs from Magical Mystery Tour TV film had been issued here as a double EP set at the end of 1967. With these EP's now deleted, the US LP version was released, in a single sleeve with a variation of the original front cover design and a unique back side.
NOTE: The first pressings (like this one) featured the last three songs on side Two in duophonic stereo and it was not until a second pressing that these songs appeared in true stereo. One of these is now on auction as well: check our other Beatles albums and SAVE on shipping!
