Description
This is a lovely original copy the Beatle's "Introducing the Beatles" on Vee Jay Records. This copy has "audio matrix" machine stamped in the trail-off guaranteeing its authenticity. It also had the deep-groove Vee Jay labels. Uniquely, this copy has the original Sears poly-shrink with the original Sears price tag. The poly-shrink has done a wonderful job of protecting the cover underneath. With no ring wear, no seam splits, a tight, legible spine, and a clean, and a white back. What I like about the cover is Paul's brown suit, which usually shows wear of some kind, does not show any rubbing and the colors at the top are also beautiful. There is some rubbing on the right corners
Looking at the vinyl, the labels are the original deep grove Vee Jay labels that look quite nice but there are some spindle marks that can be seen. The vinyl is also quite nice. I would visually grade this vinyl at a glossy VG++. Now, I played this copy all the way through and the fidelity was clear and crisp on both sides, with only some minimal surface noise, even between tracks. A nice listen all the way through. This has the original Vee Jay inner sleeve but the sleeve is quite flimsy and has finger tears at the top , so I'll ship this record in a generic sleeve along with the Vee Jay one. Questions??
