Description
I am selling some duplicate LPs from my own collection. Please check my other auctions for items that may interest you.
In this auction:
· SOME TIME in NEW YORK CITY by John Lennon/Yoko Ono/Plastic Ono Band With Elephant’s Memory Plus invisible Strings
· This is Apple Records SVBB-3392, a 2-record set in a gatefold cover.
· This LP was released June 12, 1972.
· It has the custom morphing “faces” labels and custom inner sleeves.
· The following items, frequently missing from this LP, are also included:
1) 3.5” x 5” Statue of Liberty Postcard (not creased)
2) 8.5” x 11” Petition to keep John from being deported from the U.S. (slight corner creases on bottom right on the glue strip)
· The record in this auction is an EARLY PRESSING because the vinyl has “John and Yoko forever; Peace on Earth and good will to all Men” etched in the trail-off matrix of side 1.
· Includes one side live on-stage with Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention.
· The COVER is in VG+ CONDITION with some light overall wear, and some wear and small corner pushes on 2 corners.
· The VINYL (all 4 sides) is in NEAR MINT CONDITION.
· The CUSTOM INNER PAPER SLEEVES (both) are included and in STRONG VG+ CONDITION with no seam splits. One sleeve has a few tear on the top opening with a little paper loss.
