Description

The Beatles 'Let It Be' 1st UK pressing PCS 7096. This is the rare pressing with the red apple on the back of the jacket.

Specifics:

  Matrix:   Side 1:   YEX 773-2U       Side 2:  XEX 774-2U

Visual:  Very Good Plus. Some would grade this as Near Mint. It has a stunning appearance with full gloss but does have a few light marks. None cause skips. The thick vinyl really shines beautifully and is very clean. The label is in excellent shape.

Play:  Recent playback on Thorens TD 165 turntable yielded nice results.  It plays with just mild surface noise occasionally or an occasional tic. No pops or skips.  Plays well with nothing that intrudes on the enjoyment of the music.

Outer sleeve:  Original Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. sleeve is in very good shape. These thin delicate sleeves are often found damaged. There is moderate ring and edgewear. Small splitting on top and bottom edges. A small tear is present on the top edge. The spine is in excellent shape with no splits. LP housed is plastic resealable outer sleeve to avoid further wear.

Inner sleeve:  Very good condtion.  LP housed in newer anti-static inner sleeve.

Finally:  As an audiophile I have attempted to disclose everything of significance for this great LP which comes from my personal collection.  If you want an original UK pressing that sounds great, well then, here you go!
