Outer Slipcase: NEAR MINT

This outstanding example looks like it left the store this morning, let alone 40 years ago. Both panels are perfectly clean & glossy with the only flaw being a faint wrinkle in the lower right corner of the front panel. The rear panel is easily its equal bearing just a few unavoidable storage scratches but nothing significant to detract from its beauty. All of the exposed outer edges are perfect sharp and totally unworn with no 'pushes', feathering, let alone any tears or missing paper or laminate. You will nto find a better example of this.

Outer Tray: NEAR MINT

An amazing 'as new' example, just as it left the factory. It looks so good you may think it is a reproduction, but it isn't. Apart from a touch of storage rubbing and a faint 'thumbnail' bend on the rear , there is nothing more to fault.

Inner Tray: NEAR MINT

An immaculate example of this, the most fragile of the set's components. Everything about it is 'as new'. Being harsh, there is a tiny stress to one corner where the book sat, but this is as good as it gets.

Book: EXCELLENT +

This unread copy retains an unscratched front cover, free from any creasing or wrinkles. Inside is MINT with every page fully intact - none loose or missing. I would have graded the entire book MINT if it were not for two tiny pieces of tape applied to the end of each end of the spine to repair a tiny split there.

LP CONDITION

Labels: NEAR MINT

A rich & vibrant pair with no more than a small handful spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.

Visual: NEAR MINT

Both playing surfaces are 'as new'/unmarked in strong daylight with only a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp.

Play: NEAR MINT

Played only a handful of times on top-quality equipment only, this copy plays flawlessly throughout with no audible faults or wear.

Cover: NEAR MINT

A superb clean, glossy and unworn example which retains all of its high-gloss finish with no rubbing or scratching to the laminate. There is a thin line of laminate lift along the upper edge but no 'thumbnails' on the front panel. There is a small bend on the rear panel near the spine which can be seen on the above right images. However, all corners are sharp and unbruised and both opening edges are completely unworn.

Inner-sleeve: NEAR MINT

Clean & white with just an unavoidable faint disc impression but otherwise 'as new'.

Our grading is strict & conservative grading under strong daylight & directly beneath a halogen desk lamp to UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.

We carefully play every record I sell on an EMT 950 transcription turntable fitted with a 'TSD 15' cartridge at volume and list all visual and audible faults.

Every image in this listing has been taken by ourselves (with a Canon G3 camera) and are of the actual item for sale. We do not copy from other listings or use stock images.

Each record is professionally & securely packaged in custom-made record mailing boxes with the disc removed from the cover.
