THE BEATLES - 'LONG TALL SALLY'

1964 UK *1st PRESSING* EP

This excellent 1st pressing from 1964 is on the yellow & black Parlophone label: GEP 8913

Both labels include the 'Sold in UK..' text & have 'Parlophone Co. Ltd..' rims.

The 'KT' tax/price code is visible in the centre of the side 2 label & in both run-outs.

Housed in a front laminated, pointed-flipback printed picture cover.

Matrix numbers: 7TCE 822-1N & 7TCE 823-1N

Stamper codes: 3,7/GDA & 5/GGL

CONDITION

Labels: NEAR MINT

A pristine set with just a single to the side 1 label but none on 2.

Visual: EXCELLENT

Immaculate high-gloss surfaces in strong daylight which displaying just a few insignficant wispy hairlines directly beneath halogen light.

Play: EXCELLENT +

A great sounding copy which has received little play. All tracks play cleanly & clearly without any significant audible faults or wear

Cover

EXCELLENT -

A clean & glossy example with the only significant blemishes being two laminate wrinkles from manufacture on the front panel & some minor toning towards the opening edge. The rear panel has an unavoidable label ring impression but no other marks or wear.

• Strict & grading under strong daylight & directly beneath a halogen desk lamp to UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.
