Original 1962 UK Beatles Love Me Do/P.S. I Love You 7" 45 on Parlophone (45-R 4949) in very nice condition with original multi-colored Parlophone Company sleeve.This is a first pressing of the very first Beatles single issued by Parlophone Records in Great Britain. Also of note is that this is the very first record issued anywhere featuring songs that were written by Lennon & McCartney and recorded by the Beatles. It is a piece of history.

Grading: Disc (vinyl): (VG/VG): Disc is glossy and looks moderately played but NOT abused. There are light superficial marks but NO deep scratches or scuffs. Audio is excellent on both sides. NO skips, NO jumps, NO loud distortion or groove wear. Disc lies completely flat. Disc (labels): (NM/NM): Both disc labels are very clean and look great. There are some light spindle lines. NO writing, NO stickers and NO marks. Jacket: (EX): Original Parlophone company is in excellent condition. Has light handling wear. No split seams and NO stickers.

Grading: We are conservative graders and try to be as concise and as accurate as possible without a lot of the standard hype. We will never explain the condition of an item by saying it "looks good for something this old" as we consider that patronizing and an insult to potential buyers. Please ask us questions about any details about the item before bidding.
Shipping:
Packaging: All items are professionally packaged with high quality unused materials for shipment. No items will ever be loose in their shipping cartons. Records that are not sealed in their original shrink-wrap will never be shipped in their original jackets. All vinyl will be in poly-lined sleeves and outside of their original jackets so that no seam splitting can result from the shipping process.
Shipping charges for vinyl discs, posters and memorabilia include the cost of postage and boxes with extra padding. Good packaging is not cost effective but we insist upon safe and secure packaging. We do not want you to receive damaged items!
