Description
The Beatles Red Label Love Me Do without Made In Great Britain to label. Tax code to run off ZT 1 with P above indicating a pressing date of around 26 November 1962. A very clean copy with perfect audio Excellent+ A friend of mine actually found this in Scotland whilst on Holiday ! Its the cleanest copy I have ever handled just has a nick to outside edge ( Picture 11 ) Still in its original bag with no splits Was there ever a more important 45 Single ever pressed ? I doubt it ! This hung around on the charts for Months after release on 5th Oct 1962 attaining its highest chart position of No 17 on 27th December 1962. For a newly signed group to have such longevity from a debut single was unheard of and a portent of things yet to come. The Red Label shortly to be changed by Parlophone to the much more recognizable Black + Silver. Run off Side One has P ZT1 + GA at 3 O Clock Side Two P ZT 1 + T at 3 O Clock Matrix Side One 7 XCE 17144-1N Side Two 7XCE 17145-1N A great copy of this groundbreaking Beatles 1962 Debut Single No Reserve Posting immediate Will Post Worldwide
