1962 UK 1ST PRESS *RED LABEL* 45
This fine condition 1962 very first pressing is on the red & silver Parlophone label 45-R 4949
Both labels omit the 'Made in Gt. Britain.' text but carry 'Parlophone Co Ltd...' rims.
The publishing credits for both songs are 'Ardmore & Beechwood Ltd.'
The 'MPZT' tax/price code is visibly stamped in the run-out.
Housed in its original striped 'Parlophone' company sleeve.
Matrix numbers: 7XCE 17144-1N & 7XCE 17145-1N
Stamper numbers: 1/GD & 7/LH
Labels: NEAR MINT Disc - Visual & Audio: EXCELLENT
Very clean and high gloss surfaces displaying only the slightest signs of use.
Both sides show some light wispy hairlines and and a few 'fingernail' scuffs but no deep or serious scratches.
Although there is some very light background wear audible at volume, the sound is full and bright with very little lessening in sound quality.
There is no distortion, groovewear, clicks, jumps or repeats and the disc lies 100% flat on the turntable with no dishing or warping.
