1962 UK *1st PRESSING RED LABEL* 45
**NEAR MINT RED LABELS**
This fine 1962 1st pressing is on the UK red & silver Parlophone label: 45-R 4949
Both labels carry 'Ardmore & Beechwood Ltd' publishing credits and 'Parlophone Co. Ltd..' rims.
Both labels omit the 'Made In Gt. Britain' text.
There is no tax/price code on either label but the 'ZT' is visible in both run-outs.
Housed in its original 'coloured diamonds' UK Parlophone company cover.
Matrix numbers: 7XCE 17144-1N & 7XCE 17145-1N
Stamper numbers: 1/H & 1/P

A fine set with just a few very faint spindle trails, but no marks or writing, present or removed.
Visual: VERY GOOD PLUS
Extremely bright and glossy surfaces undulled by overplay or careless handling.
There are a few light fingernail scuffs and paper hairlines visible under a halogen desk lamp.
There are no heavy marks or deep/'feelable' scratches and both sides lie100% flat on the turntable with no dishing or warping.
