UK 1962 1st PRESSING 45
This UK 1962 early 1st pressing 45 is on the red & silver Parlophone label: 45-R4949
Both bear the 'Ardmore & Beechwood' publishing credit & 'Made in Gt. Britain' text
An 'MZT' purchase tax code is visible in the centre of the 'Love Me Do' label
'MPZT' codes are stamped in both run-outs.
Minor variant alert: the 'Lennon-McCartney' songwriting credit beneath the 'Love Me Do' title has been nudged a few spaces to the left. On most copies this is centred.
Housed in an original 'beach-striped' Parlophone company cover.
Matrix numbers: 7XCE 17144-1N & 7XCE 17145-1N
Stamper codes: 1/GH & 1/GT
CONDITION
Labels: EXCELLENT
Both are clean & bright and free of any writing or missing paper. Some spindle marks are visible around each centre hole with slightly more on 'Love Me Do'.
Visual: VERY GOOD +
Both playing surfaces are extremely clean & glossy and careful inspection in strong daylight shows up just a handful of insignificant light hairlines but no noticeable surface marks/scuffs or deep scratches. Closer examination directly beneath halogen light reveals little more than some harmless wispy paper type hairlines but no other blemishes or faults. Both sides lie 100% flat on the turntable.
Play: VERY GOOD
This copy has received a number of careful plays and minor playwear in the form of some light background is audible throughout. However, there are no clicks, jumps or any other major audible faults to either side.

Clean & flat with slight toning to the paper but no splits or tears.
