MEET THE BEATLES!

ULTRA RARE TRANSITIONAL LABELS PRESSING!

" MEET THE BEATLES "  Capitol  T 2047

Hello Beatle people!  Here we have a nice highly sought after Beatles collectible.   This item is a ultra rare Transitional Labeled pressing,  That features a different Label variation on both side's of the Record.   Side 1,  Features the obscure First Label variation,  that was pressed WITH OUT!  the " BMI "  or  " ASCAP " performance right's credit's.  This Label variation is listed in the BRUCE SPIZER reference guide as CAP 2047.MR1A.     Side 2,  Features  " ASCAP "  as the performance right's credits for all the songs on side 2.   This Is the Second Label variation,  And is listed in the SPIZER guide as  CAP 2047. MR2A.     Because capitol was rushing it's release of  " MEET THE BEATLES "  The company did not wait to obtain performance right's information prior to odering it's initial batch of label's.  Thus,  the first labels prepared for the album were printed with out  the " BMI "  of  " ASCAP ".  Publishing credits .    Because only a very small number of these first - run label's were printed,  records  with-out  " BMI " or  " ASCAP "  designations are very scarce and are bringing  premium prices.   But this copy was smack dab in the middle of the Label change over,  Recieving the last 1st Pressing Label on side 1.  And the first , New 2nd pressing Label on side 2.   There Just can't be That many out there,  you know?  It is entirely possible that this could be the only pressing,  or there could be a hundred,  Who Know's.   But one thing is for sure,  It is very limited.     THE COVER:  The Cover for this item is listed in the  Spizer Guide as CAP 2047.MC1A.  it has " THE BEATLES "  in Brown print,  and does not list  "PRODUCED BY GEORGE MARTIN" on the back cover.   The # next to  the R.I.A.A. Logo is a ( 3 )  This indicates that this is a East coast,  Scranton,  PA. cover.  The Back of the cover has a rare Inspection Stamp below the " HIGH FIELITY "  Logo.    COVER CONDITION:   The cover Grade's out to be a very nice VG++,  It is nice and clean,  with no seam spliting or writing.  The Spine is nice and Sturdy,  and it's print is completely beautiful.  You cant go wrong with this cover Folk's.    RECORD LABELS CONDITION:   The Labels for this rarity are in VG condition,  They have  definitely been used,  But they still look decent enough.  Though not mint,  they have held up with time,  This Record has been cared for.   RECORD VINYL CONDITION :   The Vinyl on this is also in VG condition,  It has been played for certain.  The vinyl has numerous scratches on both side's of the record,  It looks like this was some one's favorite Record,  But at that time, I know it was my favorite Too.  Again this Record was used,  but not abused.          Well Folks! that about wrap's up this item's description,  I do apologize for yammering on so.   But I want to fully describe the item,  So there are no surprises on your end.    This my friends is a very Rare Label variation item,  That is a High end, collectible  investment grade item,  That will keep going up in value.  The Beatles have been a sound investment for years,  and will continue to be so for years to come.   Please bid with confidence,  I have traded in Quality Beatle's item's since 1978.  Please  know that Im also a collector,  And I view the Beatles collecting hobby from the buyer's perspective.   Please also know that I take my packing seriously,  and go to great length's to secure your item for shipping,  The Record will be removed from the cover for shipping purposes.  Please see my other items for sale here on ebay.  THANKS FOR LOOKING!!!!!!!!!!!
