CONDITION
Disc
Labels: NEAR MINT
A clean & unblemished set with just two or three faint spindle trails around each completely unworn centre hole.
Visual: VERY GOOD +
Both playing surface are clean & glossy but do display a number of light, harmless surface marks and hairlines (mostly on side 2), but none of which are deep, feelable or affect play. Both sides of this respectable example lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT +
Outstanding clean & clear sound from German mastered pressing which has received only careful attention from top-quality equipment. My single careful play-check detected no trace of any groove/play wear on any track or in either channel or any background interference of any kind. In fact the only factory preventing a NM audio grade are several repeating light ticks during 'Penny Lane'. apart form that however, there is little else to fault on this 1st class copy.
Cover: EXCELLENT -
A clean & strong example with a vivid, unfaded front panel which bears just three of four small thumbnail wrinkles to its unscratched high-gloss laminate. All corners are free from any major bumps or wear and both opening edges are sharp and unworn. It's an easy EXCELLENT if it were not for a 2.5cm upper seam split. The lower seam and spine are both in perfect condition.
Insert: EXCELLENT
