I am a long time collector of Beatles vinyl and have decided to sell some of my personal collection. The Beatles vinyl I have currently listed on Ebay is mostly original UK EPs with a few US pressings also listed. Over the years I have collected Beatles vinyl, I have retained only those items for my personal collection that have high quality vinyl that plays near mint to mint; i.e., no ticks, pops, or surface noise. If you are a Beatles collector that enjoys the sonic qualities of listening to as-new vinyl, I think you will find something you like. I have graded all listed vinyl using strict grading standards of the UK vinyl price guide Record Collector and the former US publication Discoveries. This item is the mono version of the UK EP Magical Mystery Tour. This is an original 1st pressing from 1967 as evidenced by The Gramophone Co. rim print and Sold in UK... language on the label. It was released in December, 1967 and is Parlophone MMT-A1. The vinyl on these EPs shows no evidence of having been played. Both EPs show a high gloss, mirror-like surface on the tracks and on the dead wax on the run-ins and run-outs. There are a few light spindle marks around the spindle hole so these EPs have been played but they couldn't have been played more than a few times. The vinyl is gorgeous. It looks flawless.
The gatefold jacket is EX+. It shows traces of very light storage wear on the front and back due to the records being stored in the jacket. There is no loss of color anywhere. There are no seam splits, only a couple of very small, light creases near the spine on the front only, no tears or marks, and the corners are square and sharp. The inner booklet is very near to mint. It is intact and fully attached to jacket with no tears or marks anywhere. It is a beautiful example of this EP. Check out the scans. They can be enlarged and tell the story on the condition.
