1970's DOUBLE EP SET

This NEAR MINT UK double EP set dates from the early 1970's and is on black & silver Parlophone labels: SMMT 1

All labels omit the 'Sold in UK..' text but retain 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd..' rim texts.

The 'KT' purchase tax code is visible in all run-outs only.

Matrix numbers: 7YCE 18435-1, 4-2 & 6-1, 7-2

Stamper codes: 10/GGR, 10/GDM & 14/GRP, 13/GLD

Housed in an outer-laminated, flipback storybook picture cover with yellow centre lyric sheet.

The set is complete with both original plain white inner-sleeves.

CONDITION

All Labels: NEAR MINT

All are 'as new' with just a single light spindle trail to the side 2 & 3 centre hole - most probably made by stacking in the factory rather than from play.

Visual: NEAR MINT

All playing surfaces are clean & glossy and unmarked in strong daylight with just some harmless light inner-sleeve storage marks visible directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp.

Play: NEAR MINT

All discs appear to be unplayed. I have played them both and am pleased to report that the sound quallity throughout is unworn with just a hint of normal/light background between tracks and on a few of the quieter passages.

A vivd & vibrant example with just a touch of shelfwear to the lower edge but no rusting to the staples or spine wear or indeed any other significant signs of wear inside or out.

Both are fully intact and unworn with just some age toning to the paper on one.
