'MICHELLE'/'DRIVE MY CAR'

1966 UK *EXPORT PRESSING* 45

On the black & silver Parlophone label: DP 564

Both labels omit the 'Sold in UK..' text but have upper case 'Gramophone Co..' rims.

The 'KT' tax/price code is embossed around the centre-hole of the 'Michelle' label & is present in both run-outs.

Housed in its original Parlophone company cover.

Matrix numbers: 7XCE 18357-1 & 7XCE 18358-1

Stampers: 1/G & 1/M

CONDITION

Labels: EXCELLENT +

Clean & bright with just a few spindle trail to each centre-hole.

Visual: EXCELLENT -

Both sides of this rare disc are extremely clean and bear no noticeable surface marks or any scratches to either side. It would have graded an easy EXCELLENT+ if it were not for some slight dulling to both surfaces.

Audio: VERY GOOD

Despite appearing to have had little play, both sides play with audible surface noise (hiss). This is more noticeable on 'Michelle' but less so on 'Drive My Car'. However, both are free from groovewear distortion, clicks, pops, jumps or any other major faults.

Cover: NEAR MINT

Apart form the unavoidable light disc impression, this is 'as new'.
