1962 GERMAN POLYDOR 45
'My Bonnie' was the first appearance by The Beatles on record.
This superb original German pressing dates from January 1962 and is on the orange & gold stars Polydor label: 24 673
The 'My Bonnie' label carries the "(Twist)" subtitle on the record label and 'My Bonnie' plays the English song introduction.
The disc is housed in its original generic Polydor company sleeve.
Matrix numbers: 24673-4A & X24673-2B

An immaculate set with no traces of wear to either.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Both playing surfaces are perfectly glossy & unmarked in strong daylight with no scuffs or scratches anywhere. Even close inspection directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp shows little more than some insignificant wispy sleeve removal hairlines and a sparkling rainbow shine. Hard to find in this condition.
Audio: EXCELLENT +
This barely played copy is completely unworn on both sides. Even the exposed, unaccompanied introduction is clean & clear with no background crackle and the louder passages are bright and clear with no trace of any groove/play wear distortion. Add to that the huge bass sound and you have a copy which would be difficult to upgrade.
