THE BEATLES - 'HEY JUDE'
The Beatles' final US Apple release (and release, for that matter), "Hey Jude" was nothing more than a collection of singles and other previously released tracks that Capitol had cut from the Beatles' UK releases. This particular copy is quite rare in that it has the large white promotional sticker with blood red "HEY JUDE" text. A majority of copies were either released without the sticker or had the sticker removed with the wrap.
This particular copy is truly in immaculate condition. The shrink wrap shines like a mirror on either side, and there are no detectable traces of wear on the album. The corners are all sharp, the seams are flat and straight, and the inks are dark and bold. The sticker background is quite white with just the slightest evidence of toning, perceptible only up close, and its letters are strikingly bright and crisp.

This is my absolute highest grade (for obvious reasons), and one that I have actually never used previously. Simply put, this album is incredible, and is likely very little changed from the way it was when it came from the factory. As described, the sticker brightly contrasts the album, and the sleeve itself is in virtually perfect condition with strong lines and sharp corners. The wrap is beautiful and shiny and is 100% complete. The only shred of evidence of wear anywhere on the piece is a small stress line on the back portrait that runs about 1/2 an inch; it is noticeable only upon inspection of the album, and does not go through to the cover itself.
This not only one of the best conditioned albums I have encountered, but likely one of the best copies of this album in existence.
