This is the Beatles first official LP release ever album staying top for 30 weeks consecutively until it was broken by “With The Beatles”, six months later. The album also took exactly 6 months to pass the sales figure of 250,000, and went on to sell over half-a-million in the U.K. with world sales of almost two million.

Record

This record contains "Parlophone" label  in gold lettering on black which was soon replaced is by far the rarest, with the Mono version worth about £250 and the stereo version five times that !

These first pressings had the five new McCartney/Lennon songs with a publishing credit of "Dick James Music Co.",

The cover has a laminated sleeve with a polythene lined inner sleeve with an advert for "Emitex" cleaning cloths located at right bottom corner.

The cover photo was taken at EMI's Manchester Sq. headquarters by Angus McBean, and the sleeve notes are by Tony Barrow.

Condition

Cover: The right hand bottom seam has got bit of a tear of 8 cm. It has got some letters filled with colour pen.

The inner sleeve is not torn and is intact.

We gave this record to an evaluator and based upon his VISUAL GRADED assessment, the record is in good condition.
