This is an ORIGINAL 1963 UK MONO Vinyl LP for The Beatles FIRST UK Album ‘PLEASE PLEASE ME’
The album is on the traditional BLACK AND YELLOW PARLOPHONE Label, with ‘The Parlophone Co Ltd’ label rim, ‘Recording First Published 1963’ and ‘Made in Gt. Britain’ label text.
The record labels are in excellent condition, CLEAN labels, showing only light spider trails and faint signs of the previous owners name to the side 1 record label.
Official side 1 matrix is XEX 421-1N/Side 2 XEX 422-1N. Side 1 stampers: 11 RDD
Side 2 0 RGG. The embossed ‘KT’ tax code is visible to the centre of the side 2 record label
The album plays EXTREMELY WELL with NO skips or clicks.
Both sides of the vinyl disc are in BRIGHT excellent condition, with nothing more than a few light superficial surface hairlines, but no deep scratches or scuffs
The Use Emitex inner bag is a RESPECTABLE example, no seam splits, just the previous owners name written to one side of the bag
The album comes in its correct and ORIGINAL Use Emitex Lined Printed Bag and is housed in its ORIGINAL ERNEST J DAY LAMINATED ‘mono’ sleeve with three flipbacks to the reverse.
The EJ DAY picture sleeve is in STRONG very good plus condition. The front panel is CLEAN and BRIGHT, minimal record indentation – nothing serious - and just mild bruising to all four corners. The spine edge is FIRM and clearly readable. The reverse panel of the sleeve is RESPECTABLE, with NO handwriting. Only little mild ageing/yellowing and handling marks, and a little creasing to the top flipback
