THE BEATLES - 'PAST MASTERS VOLUMES 1 & 2'
This UNPLAYED true 1st UK pressing double album dates from initial March 1988 release and is on matt black Parlophone labels: BPM 1
Both discs & cover were manufactured in England.
Matrix numbers: BPM 11 11 A-1-1-1-/BPM 11 11 B-1-1-1 & BPM 12 11 A-1-1- & BPM 12 11 B-1-1-1
Disc weights: 118g & 115g
Housed in an semi-gloss gatefold cover 'Printed in England'.
Being a true 1st pressing, there is no Apple logo on the rear panel which appears on all later pressings.
Both original poly-lined inner-sleeves are also present.

All are totally free from any spindle marks or hole wear.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Pristine deep-gloss playing surfaces which are 'as new' in strong daylight and display some harmless wispy inner-sleeve removal hairlines directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp. Both disc also lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.

Cover: EXCELLENT +
A clean strong and unworn example which apart from a tiny bruise to the upper left corner is 'shop new' throughout. Both opening edges are razor-sharp and untouched and all seams are unstressed and unsplit. There is a small 'nick' to the spine which can be seen in the final image, but little else to fault.
