Beatles, Paul McCartney Picture Disc Collection
We’re selling our Beatles lp collection. This is a group of 4-12” picture discs:
Hear the Beatles Tell All, VeeJay Records, dated 1974
Silver Beatles, Ultra Sound Co., dated 1982 (recordings dated 1961) includes: “Memphis”; “3 Cool Cats”; “Crying, Waiting, Hoping”; “To Know Her is to Love Her”; “Sure to Fall”; “Take Good Care of My Baby”; “Besame Mucho”; “September in the Rain”; “Sheik of Araby”; “Searchin’” *** There’s also a vintage brochure from Beatle City, Liverpool in this sleeve. The disc may have been originally purchased there – I don’t know.
Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band No manufacturer information on the disc. The sleeve says “Made in Germany” – I know nothing else about it.
“No More Lonely Nights” 12” McCartney single from Give My Regards to Broad Street. Also features ballad and extended remix versions and “Silly Love Songs” 1984, Columbia Records
Since we don’t currently own a record player, I can’t test these and the condition judgments I make are based purely on visual inspection. All vinyl looks to be in excellent condition: they have zero visible scratches or surface rubs. Again, I do not own a record player, so I haven’t tested these myself. If my husband or I ever played these, it was maybe once each. All have been stored in protective covers.
I'm not a record dealer -- just a past Beatles collector (about to sell the entire collection on eBay) -- so please feel free to ask for any information I may have inadvertently left out. I'll post all Q&A's below.
