Description
The time has come for me to part with my 50 year old Beatles collection. This collection consists of LP's, 45's, picture sleeves, EP's, 12" singles, picture discs, sealed LP's, test pressings, acetates, promos, box sets, and CD's from the US and the UK. The collection also includes vinyl and CD's from John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, and Apple artists. There are numerous rarities in this collection. The vast majority of the vinyl is in NM- to NM condition; I tried not to acquire anything with a grade below that, or attempted to upgrade, although a few of the extremely hard to find items I was unable to upgrade and will have a grade below that. If you are a Beatles collector, be sure to bookmark me as the vinyl I'll be listing will surely be of interest. Here we go; a splendid time is guaranteed for all.
Paul McCartney, recording as "The Fireman"-"Strawberries Oceans Ships Forest", a 2 LP UK import set, Parlophone PCSD 145, released in 1993. LP's are pressed in clear vinyl. This is a very scarce limited edition promo pressing, numbered 0264; supposedly there were only 1200 pressed worldwide but I can't verify this. Vinyl, VISUALLY graded by Goldmine standards, is in NM condition; neither LP shows any signs of play. Cover is in NM- condition with extremely light age wear, and a small stain on the back at the LP opening. Rare piece of Paul vinyl; the standard issue is hard to find but these promo pressings are impossible to find in any condition.
