I’ve gone into the vault (closet) and found more records to bring out and auction off as I downsize my collection. I discovered additional duplicates, so please check my other auctions for more vinyl that may be of interest to you.

In this auction:

·       “BAND ON THE RUN” by Paul McCartney & Wings

·       This is Apple Records P - 1873.

·       This is a PROMOTIONAL SINGLE with MONO on the A-side and STEREO on the B-side.

·       The STEREO side play time is 5:09 but the MONO side play time is edited to 3:50.

·       As you may know, PROMO RECORDS were ONLY released to radio stations and DJs for airplay to promote the song, artist and new LP, so they were produced in VERY SMALL QUANTITIES. The LIMITED NUMBER OF THESE PRESSINGS and NON-RELEASE OF THEM TO THE PUBLIC have made them rare and very desirable to collectors.

·       The labels state that this song is “from the LP ‘BAND ON THE RUN’ SO 3415’”.  

·       This record was issued in April of 1974.  

·       The VINYL on the MONO side is VG. The VINYL on the STEREO side is VG+. Some DJ in the past wrote on the MONO-side label and there is a light stain near the apple stem where a label once was. There is no writing on the B-side label. There are NO stickers and NO label tears.

·       An Apple Records stock sleeve is included.

·       A stock copy of the “Band on the Run” b/w “Nineteen Hundred And Eighty Five” commercial release 45 RPM Record in VG+ Condition is also included.

·       A NICE Beatles-related Paul McCartney PROMO 45 RPM RECORD for YOUR vinyl collection!!!
