Description

Released January 11th 1963 "Please Please Me" was the Beatles second UK single release, and a UK number 1 paving the way for what has now become legend.
Original 1st issues of this single feature the same red label as "Love me do" but with the addition of the "Made in Gt Britain" text. Please also note this is not a repressing or reissue this is the original first pressing in exceptional condition (Please see images below) So many of these copies come up for auction on eBay but very few display the lustre and unmarked labels this copy displays…

CONDITION:

A note on grading I use the Record Collector grading system with the addition of a (+) or a (-) to denote a slight increase or decrease in condition. Items described with an aural grade have been carefully played on a Garrard 301 turntable with origin live silver mk2 arm and Shure v15 v cart.
I have been collecting and trading records for many years and genuinely want you to be happy with your purchase. For this reason I treat grading very seriously and as my feedback suggests conservatively.

Record:

The first press Red / Silver Labels are exceptionally clean and presentable, No tears, rips, writing, stickers or other difficulties. The centre is original and undamaged showing barely any signs of play to the spindle hole. The playing surface is flat and unbuckled displaying a mouth watering full gloss lustre. Under angled light the surfaces show only the very faintest paper traces consistent with the record being removed / replaced in the original sleeve. - Please listen to the sound clip above for a clear sense of the superb aural condition and view the images above for a clear sense of the visual condition. Overall grade an honest EX+
