My dad was a private collector, he collected thousands and thousands of records from 1950's to early 2000's, many are rarities, obscurities and some are unique, I am not a dealer, just selling the collection now he is unable to do so himself.

Beatles - Please Please Me - Gold & Black Labels - Mono - Earliest Gold & Black 1st Issue with Dick James Credits UK Pressing - Mega early Mothers/Stampers 1L 1L - Correct Patents Applied For EMITEX Inner - Extremely Rare LP + Earliest Gold Sleeve
1st pressing which has Dick James Songs Credits On Labels, This is the rarest pressing, these 1st Pressings are becoming harder and harder to find.
Side 1: XEX 421 - 1N 1L
Side 2: XEX 422 - 1N 1L
Side 1 has one noticable scratch from halfway to the dead wax, this is slightly feelable but causes no skips or jumps, there are also a handful of much finer scratches but no other marks Side 2 has a handful of small fine scratches, no other marks, apart from that just the odd extremely faint sleeve removal mark under strong artificial light, Both sides still have a Great shine. Playtested Below
PLAYTESTED and it plays Really Well, the audio is strong and vibrant, no lessening in sound quality, No Jumps, sticks or skips and it lays flat on the turntable. Both sides play with some light static/background in the quiet parts and some clicks, Start of Side 1 to half way is mostly click free, as is most of Side 2, but the second half of side 1 has clicks due to the scratch mentioned above. It has been stored for 50+ years so will benefit from a proper clean which can reduce the light static. If you don't mind some clicks and some light background between tracks then this is perfect for you as the actual audio is so strong.
Labels both have signs of play(spiders legs) under strong light, Both labels are clean and free from the usual writing etc, some wear around spindles and id say at some point they have been inked in around spindle but the labels are clean and bright with no fading...see photos
Original Front laminated Flipback Earliest and rarest Ernest J Day Sleeve has wear. The front of sleeve shows some light rubbing, still has some shine, there are some creases from edges and wear on bottom edge. Corners are worn. Patchy wear to bottom edge, top edge is mostly wear free. Some light handling wear to opening edge. The Back of sleeve is discolouration with a couple of grubby patches, some tiny pen 'ticks' next to track listings, bottom flipback is damaged/torn and is selotaped all the way along, top flipback has wear and creasing. Spine is pretty solid and mostly readable....see photos...This is a Nice Used Example of this Rare Sleeve.
The original Patents Applied For EMITEX Inner has No wear, No splits only the slightest discolouration.
