Description
For auction is a great sounding and great condition First U.K. mono copy of The Beatles debut album Please Please Me.
This is the true first press with the black and gold labels, the original ‘Gold’ sleeve and the Dick James credits.
The genuine first issue sleeve, with the front photo credit starting at the end of the second S in songs, is in great condition with no major issues
apart from some minor wear. No writing or tears and a fully intact and readable spine. Rare to see them in this condition.
Original use Emitex inner sleeve in VG condition
Record labels, with Dick James credits are at least VG + with only minor fading. No tears or writing
Very early 1L/1O stampers.
Record visually is at least VG both sides, and close to VG+. A couple of scuffs and a couple of long but superficial scratches on each side which do not affect playback.
Sonically the record plays as excellent, with only a few minor crackles mainly audible between tracks. No clicks sticks skips or jumps.
All in all a great copy of an iconic album. A true complete first press that is a joy to listen to.
Please note I do not ship to the European Union - since the disaster of Brexit it has just become too problematic.
I also do not ship to the Russian Federation due to their barbaric and illegal invasion of Ukraine.
