CONDITION
Disc
Labels: EXCELLENT +
Both are clean & undamaged with a small number of light spindle trails around each centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Clean & unworn playing surfaces which retain all of their deep-gloss factory shine. The only noticeable blemish on the entire disc is a light, non-feelable/non-audible surface mark which goes over the last three tracks on side 1. A few harmless wispy marks are visible beneath halogen light but there is little else to fault on this well looked-after gem which which would be tough find again, let alone upgrade.
Audio: NEAR MINT
Played with care just a few times on high-end equipment, all tracks retain the presence and clarity one would expect from an early pressing of this quality. There is no trace of any crackle or groove/playwear in either channel on any track. Aside from a touch of regular low-level vinyl background between tracks, everything sounds flawless and is guaranteed not to disappoint.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A highly respectable example of this rare & earliest cover type. The richly coloured front panel laminate retains a superb unworn high-gloss finish with no 'thumbnail' wrinkles or any other significant signs of wear. There is some shelfwear to the tip of the lower corners a few small 'pushes' to the front opening edge . There is a small punched out shape on the rear edge which was most likely done by the record shop at the time. The rear panel itself is otherwise unblemished. All of the delicate flipbacks are present and fully intact. The original '32/-' shillings price is written in chinagraph pen on the upper flipback and could be easily wiped off but - we have left it on for the sake of originality. There are three small 'bumps' to the upper edge but both upper and lower seams are unstressed & fully intact. The spine is totally unworn and perfectly worded.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Clean & fully intact with just some gentle storage wrinkling.
