Beatles / Please Please Me

Japan Tour Only Orig. LP

Odeon OP - 7548

Appendices: "G/F Cover", “Inner-Bag”, "8 Page Booklet ( originally attached inside gate-fold )" & “Odeon Red-Wax”

( INSERT is not originally issued for this item )

Description: This is rare original Odeon copy ( released in 1966 ) of Beatles’ “Please Please Me” to commemorate their Japan Tour. The cover is different from UK copy, while the disc is beautiful Odeon red-wax, issued only for its 1st press. Insert is not originally issued for this item. Instead a 8 page colorful booklet is originally attached inside gate-fold cover to show "Japanese description", "English & Japanese lyrics" & "Colorful photos of their stage". But each page is off inside gate-fold cover. It’s hard to find this copy with red-wax even in my country nowadays. Scarce item from Japan to serious collector.

Side A: Please please me, Anna, I saw her standing there, Boys, Misery, Chains, Ask me why

Side B: Twist and shout, A taste of honey, Love me do, Do yo want to know a secret, Baby it’s you, There’s a place, PS I love you

Condition: POOR/FAIR ( Cover / Disc )

COVER: Cover is worn on the corners & outer-edges, while being split in the middle of spine & bottom-edges. A booklet originally attached inside gate-fold are off the cover, which are aged, creased, ragged & stained with tape-marks on its surface of each side. The cover itself is scraped & scraped in places with ring-wear on the front & back. It’s stained inside gate-fold, with handwritings on its right-side ( See photo ). Otherwise it’s OK.

DISC: Disc is fair in condition, keeping glossy. It’s full of scuffs, scratches & hairlines on each side ( but not deep scratch ). There’re many spindle-marks on each label. Otherwise it has none of any hairline, which is to be rated as "Fair”. It still plays strong on each side without jump.

OBI: OBI is missing.

INSERT: INSERT is not originally issued for this item. Instead a booklet was originally attached inside gate-fold cover ( but each page of booklet is off the cover ).

INNER-BAG: INNER-BAG is missing.
