Description: This is rare original Odeon copy ( released in 1966 ) of Beatles’ “Please Please Me” to commemorate their Japan Tour. The cover is different from UK copy, while the disc is odeon red-wax, issued only for its 1st press. Insert is not originally issued for this item. Instead 8 page colorful booklet is originally attached inside gate-fold cover to show "Japanese description", "English & Japanese lyrics" & "Colorful photos of their stage". Though obi is missing, it’s still hard to find this copy with red-wax in any condition even in my country nowadays. Scarce item from Japan to serious collector.

Condition: G+/G+ ( Cover / Disc )

COVER: Cover is partly worn on the corners & outer-edges. It’s lightly scraped & scratched with ring-wear on the front & back. It’s lightly creased & stained on the surface of booklet inside gate-fold. A short tear is in upper center-fold of booklet. Handwritten date is inside the “mouth”, which can’t be seen from outside. Otherwise it has no dent, strip…OK.

DISC: Disc has slight scuffs in places with a few scratches on the “outer-groove” of each side. There’re many spindle-marks on each label. Otherwise it has none of any serious flaw ( such as deep scratch ), which is to be rated as "G+”. Though there’re many scuffs on each “inner-groove”, they have no relation with the sound. It plays strong on each track.

OBI: OBI is missing.

INSERT: INSERT is not originally issued for this item. Instead a booklet was originally attached inside gate-fold cover ( but each page of booklet is off the cover ).

INNER-BAG: FAIR, being creased & stained with brown spots on the surface of each side. It’s torn on the bottom & side-edge, and taped on the right-rim.
