Description

Please Please Me The Beatles PMC 1202 Mono Yellow + Black Label with The Parlophone Co text Matrix Nos are Side One XEX 421-1N Side Two XEX 422-1N Mothers 2 MG + 1 MG The Sleeve is that usually seen with Black + Gold Pressings from 1963 the P of Photo credit after S in Songs A very well cared for LP in excellent condition that plays the same Address to back in pencil Leamington Spa which is where I found it so it hasn`t traveled very far in all those years ! Small sticker to Side One Label 67 There is no Tax Code visible on this pressing it appears to have been missed off The inner bag is virtually pristine with no splits Vinyl has its sheen + very light on spindle marks, just very faint marks from sliding in + out of bag. I think you can tell by white back + general condition that it has been stored properly + has been well cared for. The spine is unbroken and Excellent Condition This LP would date to Summer of 1963 + the Ernest J Day Sleeve with Angus McBean photo credit after the S of Songs Its in the books that these first Yellow + Blacks came in the first issue sleeves with or without the Tax Credit. These Sleeves were fast running out when this left the factory A lovely early copy of Please Please Me in collectible condition The Sleeve obviously has a good value in this condition by itself.I was expecting a Gold Black Pressing  when I withdrew LP !  Posting Immediate Will Post Worldwide in Record Box
