CONDITION

Disc

Labels: EXCELLENT

A clean and bright pair with just a touch of light wear to each centre hole, but no writing, stickers or missing paper.

Visual: VERY GOOD +

Extremely clean, deep-gloss playing surfaces which when viewed in strong daylight bear a handful of light surface marks each side, but nothing I would call a scratch. Close examination directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp reveal little more than some harmless wispy paper hairlines consistent with inner-sleeve removal, and a sparking rainbow shine. Both sides of this rare disc lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.

Sound Quality: EXCELLENT

This great sounding copy has received just careful play on good equipment and bears no significant deterioration to the sound quality overall. My single careful play-check at volume detected a touch of wear in the right channel on the final 2 tracks on side 1 & 'Twist & Shout', but this is not enough, in my opinion, to spoil the listening pleasure. The entire album is free from any background interference or any clicks, pops or other such audible distractions or faults. Copies of this pressing rarely come onto the market, let alone in this condition, and represents a essential addition to any serious collection.

Cover: EXCELLENT

A superb clean, strong & unworn example of this early cover which retains a vibrant unworn high-gloss front panel laminate with no 'thumbnails' or any other creasing or significant wear. There is minor wear to the upper right corner & a small water stain in the lower left corner (also visible on the rear), but no heavy bumps or bruising to any. There is a hint of wear to the front opening edge but the rear one is perfectly clean & sharp. The easily blemished rear panel is extremely clean & white with the only blemishes being the timing "2:50" written aside 'I Saw Her Standing There' on the track-listing and the address stamp of the original owner. All of the delicate flipbacks are fully intact and undamaged. There is a strip of clear tape running along the lower seam which could be removed, but this and the upper seam are unstressed and unsplit. The spine is unbent, clean & fully worded.

Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT

Clean, flat & white with some gentle storage wrinkling but no writing, tears or seam splits.
